Ingredients
3 lbs country style pork ribs; or any pork rib
1 tbsp liquid smoke
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup beef broth; or water
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup BBQ sauce; plus more for serving
Dry Rub: or
use Barbeque Rub
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix together the dry rub ingredients until well combined.
2. Pour the beef broth, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, apple juice into a large bowl, add the ribs and marinate for 1-3 hours.
3. Remove the ribs from marinade, and pat dry. Spread the dry rub evenly on both sides of the ribs and massage into the meat.
4. Add the marinade liquid into the bottom of your Instant Pot. Add the
ribs to the Instant Pot and pour BBQ sauce over ribs.
5. Lock the lid on the pressure cooker.
6. Cook on manual, high pressure, for 45 minutes. After cooking is finished, do a 15
to 20 minute natural pressure release, after which release manually any remaining pressure.
Remove ribs and serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
