Mexican Lasagna

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion; finely chopped
1 clove garlic; grated
1 pkg taco seasoning mix; McCormick e.g
12 soft corn tortillas; 6 inch
15 oz refried beans
15 oz taco sauce
4 oz green chiles; chopped
4 oz black olives; sliced
8 oz cheddar cheese; shredded

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

2. Heat skillet, add olive oil and brown beef, onions and garlic.

3. Add taco seasoning and follow instructions.

4. Spread 1/4 cup of taco meat on the bottom of an 11 x 7 baking dish.

5. Layer the following 2 to 3 times:
 corn tortillas
 refried beans
 taco meat
 taco sauce
 green chiles
 black olives
 cheddar cheese.

6. Bake for 30 minutes and let stand 10 minutes.

It is now ready to cut and serve.
